Children And The New Tools For Learning

If you have children to educate, oh the tools you have at your fingertips!

If your child is curious, it means they have not been tainted by formalized education yet. A place sadly where creativity and curiosity often die.

Children by their very nature, are curious and overflowing with questions. They are a natural learning system. They are prepackaged with the ability to learn complex things. All but a few learn how to listen and speak in complete sentences, without a language specialist, within only a few years of life. That is nothing short of miraculous.

When you take the natural curiosity of a child and combine it with tools that makes learning easier, stand back, get out of the way, and watch with amazement what will be produced.

Between today and the end of this decade, children and their parents, will have exponential learning capability, enabled by new technologies no one could have dreamed of five years ago.

It staggers the mind the possibilities awaiting us. Children given the time and space to create while young and excited about everything they are experiencing, will grow up with all the necessary capabilities to create incredible things as adults. The sky is almost the limit.

Though these tools for learning will open many new vistas, they cannot insure that all those new paths will be the best to take. That will require wisdom. No artificially intelligent robot can teach that. That comes from the teacher; parent, guardian, or otherwise.

So, support childlike curiosity, couple it with marvelous tools for learning, and mix it all together with wisdom.

Above all these, get wisdom.
